“Los niños de hoy son el futuro de mañana ¡Luchemos por ellos!”
El 25 de mayo se celebra el Día de África conmemorando la fecha en la que en 1963 los líderes africanos reunidos en Addis Abeba acordaron la creación de la Organización para la Unidad Africana, hoy Unión Africana.
28 de los últimos 29 países más pobres, según el Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo, PNUD, son africanos, mo…rtalidad infantil, problemas con el acceso y potabilidad del agua, conflictos armados, corrupción política, analfabetismo, enfermedades, … son los dramas del continente que estos años se pueden recrudecer porque la crisis económica mundial les afecta por partida doble.
Por un lado aumenta los niveles de pobreza y por otro se ha reducido drásticamente la ayuda oficial al desarrollo.
